Uttar Pradesh estimates the benefit of ₹ 3.5 lakh crore
CM Yogi informed that the state is estimated to have a profit of ₹ 3.5 lakh crore from organizing Mahakumbh in the state. He also gave the statistics of the CAIT, which had told that in Mahakumbh, people spent ₹ 3 lakh crore which joined the economy.
Thousands of crores were spent in transport, hotels, worship materials and other areas due to Mahakumbh. CM Yogi said that during Mahakumbh, ₹ 40 thousand crore in the hotel industry, ₹ 33 thousand crore in food and drink, ₹ 1.5 lakh crore in the transport sector and ₹ 20 thousand crore due to worship material.

Due to the Mahakumbh held in Prayagraj, big batch of devotees also reached Ayodhya and Varanasi, which has also benefited here. The country’s Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) V Anant Nageswaran has said that due to the big expenditure in Mahakumbh, the country will help to maintain the GDP increase of 6.5%.
More than 60 crore people attended Mahakumbh. Apart from the economy of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan and Haryana etc. have also benefited a big benefit from this. The large number of devotees coming to Mahakumbh were also from these states.
₹ 7500 crore was spent on system
