10 crore people will come to Mahakumbh on Mauni Amavasya! The world will be stunned, know what the arrangements are

Special arrangements will be implemented at the stations of Prayagraj Railway Division on the great festival of Mauni Amavasya on January 29 in Prayagraj Mahakumbh. This information was received from an official statement released on Monday. The statement said that so far more than 13 crore devotees have taken bath in the Sangam during the Maha Kumbh. It is said that on the upcoming 29th January, on the great festival ‘Mauni Amavasya’

Estimated arrival of 10 crore devotees

Preparations are going on for ‘Amrit Snan’. It is estimated that 10 crore devotees will come on the festival of Mauni Amavasya. In view of the large number of devotees, Prayagraj Railway Board has also made special arrangements. On the day of Mauni Amavasya festival, Prayagraj Railway Board has made a special plan for the arrival and departure of passengers at all the stations of the city.

According to the statement, since January 25, about one crore pilgrims have started coming to Mahakumbh every day. For the safety of such a large number of devotees and their smooth evacuation, Prayagraj Railway Board has implemented special plans and some restrictions for all the stations of the city. These restrictions will remain in force one day before and two days after Mauni Amavasya.

It has been said that on the day of Snan festival of Mauni Amavasya, entry at Prayagraj Junction will be given only from the city side door and from platform no.-1. Exit will be only from Civil Lines and platform number six.

  • Reserved passengers, whose tickets are already reserved, will be given separate entry from gate number five located on the city side. Whereas unreserved passengers will be admitted through color coded shelters direction wise.
  • According to the statement, there will be arrangements for unreserved ticket counters, ATVMs and mobile ticketing in the shelters only.

It said that to manage the additional pressure of the crowd, arrangements have been made to accommodate one lakh people in Khusro Bagh.

According to the statement, on Mauni Amavasya festival, entry into Naini Junction will be only from Station Road and exit will be only from the warehouse side. Similarly, reserved passengers will be given separate entry from gate number two, while at Prayagraj Chhivki station, entry will be only through COD route connecting Prayagraj-Mirzapur Highway and exit will be only through G.E. C will be from Naini Road.

Reserved passengers will enter from gate number two. Entry to Subedarganj station will be from Jhalwa, Kaushambi Road while exit will be only from GT. Will be towards the road. The statement said that reserved passengers will enter from gate number three. It has been said that for unreserved passengers, direction-wise ‘color coded’ shelters have been made at all the stations from where the passengers will be taken to the platform according to their different colored tickets. From where many regular and fair special trains will take passengers to their destination stations.
