The second and final phase of voting is taking place in Jharkhand today. (Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024 Second Phase Voting Percentage). Voting is being held today on 38 out of 81 assembly seats. Till 9 am in Jharkhand, 12.7 percent voting has been recorded. Till 11 am, 18.14 votes were recorded. A lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the voters in the state. Maximum votes are being cast on the seats of Pakur district. In Pakur alone, 35.15 percent voting was recorded.

There are a total of 1.23 crore voters in Jharkhand, including 60.79 lakh women. Of the total 528 candidates, 472 are men, 55 are women and one transgender is in the fray. The JMM-led alliance is trying to retain power on the basis of its welfare schemes. Whereas BJP is in the election field on the issues of Hindutva, infiltration from Bangladesh and corruption of the present government.
Tough contest between JMM-BJP
There is a tough fight in Jharkhand between the ruling JMM-led India Alliance and the BJP-led NDA. Voting is going on since morning at 14,218 polling stations. Voting will continue till 5 pm. Of these, voting will end at 4 pm at 31 polling stations.
