Bangladesh’s Maulvi threatens PM Modi and Mamata Banerjee
New Delhi:
Atrocities against Hindus continue in Bangladesh. In the last few days, not only the people of Hindu community have been targeted but strict action has also been taken against them. Be it the matter of closing the ISKCON temple or arresting ISKCON saint Chinmoy Krishna Das and his associates. With each passing day, violence against Hindus and hatred towards them is increasing in Bangladesh. Former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina has also condemned the violence against Hindus in the last few days. He has said in one of his statements that genocide is taking place during the rule of the present government of Bangladesh. The Indian government is also keeping an eye on the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. Amidst all this, Maulana Inayatullah Abbasi of Bangladesh has given objectionable statements about PM Modi and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.
What statement has Maulana given?
Looking at the current situation of Hindus in Bangladesh, Maulana Inayatullah Abbasi has said that 14 crore Bangladeshi Muslims will come together with sticks in their 28 crore hands and capture the Red Fort. Inayatullah Abbasi said that I am with both of them (PM Modi and Mamata Banerjee) to be careful, if you raise your hand towards Bangladesh, 14 crore Bangladeshis will break that hand. The enemy of Bangladesh is India.
Temples were vandalized
Last Friday, a slogan-shouting mob vandalized three Hindu temples in Chattogram, Bangladesh. Protests continue in Chattogram after a treason case was registered against a former ISKCON member. News portal ‘bdnews24.com’ had said in its news that the attack took place at around 2:30 pm in Harish Chandra Munsef Lane of the port city and during this, Shantaneshwari Matri Temple, Shani Mandir and Shantaneshwari Kalibari Temple were targeted.
Where did the matter start
Sanatan Jagran Jot spokesperson Chinmoy Krishna Das has been charged with treason by Bangladeshi authorities for allegedly insulting the country’s flag by hoisting the saffron flag in Chittagong last month. Das was produced in a Chittagong court on Tuesday and later sent to jail after Bangladeshi Hindus took to the streets in the country. At the same time, violence broke out in the court building, resulting in the death of 32-year-old advocate Saiful Islam Alif. Hardliners in Bangladesh are now blaming Das’s supporters for the advocate’s death, while ISKCON and other Hindu organizations have made it clear that no Hindu was involved in the disturbance that day in the court complex.
