This includes jewelery and bullion. 9.80 kg gold has been seized by the Income Tax Department. Apart from this, Rs 3.8 crore cash has also been seized. At the same time, documents of benami properties worth crores of rupees were found at the house of former councilor Kesharwani. Accounts of cash transactions worth Rs 140 crore have also been found.
Assets collected from land business including construction, beedi etc. Investigation has revealed that Rathore is associated with beedi business. Besides, Kesharwari has also been involved in construction and land business. The Income Tax Department’s raid on Rathore’s hideouts was completed on Tuesday, while the action is continuing on Kesharwani’s hideouts. Documents of cash transactions worth crores and money laundering have been found from here.
