Like normal days, on December 16, children came to study at ‘The Abundant Life Christian School’ in America. Everything was going well. Then suddenly the sounds of gunshots started coming. Before anyone could understand anything, a girl opened fire on many people. The people present there immediately called the police and informed about the firing. As soon as information about the firing was received, the police reached the spot. Police found that the attacker was a student. Whose age was 17 years. After firing, he also shot himself. Two people have died in this incident. While 6 are said to be injured. Police suspect that a 9 mm pistol was used in the firing.
390 students study in the school
According to ABC News, approximately 390 students from kindergarten to 12th grade attend the school. The Madison Police Department has declined to provide details about the two people killed in the shooting. Police said it was necessary to contact the families of the victims before releasing details.
When the children’s families got information about the firing, they ran to school. Panicked parents ran towards the campus to find their children, but the police stopped them and did not allow them to enter. When everything came under control, the parents could meet their child.

- 11:38 p.m. – Madison Police Department confirms shooting
- 12:15 pm – Police held a press conference. Police confirmed that three people, including the attacker, were killed. While seven others have been injured.
- 2:30 pm – Police held another press conference and told that the attacker was a student of the school.
Police engaged in investigation
Madison Police Chief Shawn Barnes said the motive is still unclear. Of the six injured students, the condition of two is critical with life-threatening injuries, while the condition of the others is not critical. “Today is a sad day not only for Madison but for our entire country,” Barnes said. The police is in contact with the family of the shooter girl and the family is cooperating.
Abundant Life Christian School released a statement hours after the shooting and requested prayers. The school authorities have not yet decided when the school will be started. Everyone is shocked by this incident.
