3 day Pravasi Bharatiya Divas conference in Bhubaneswar, PM Modi will inaugurate on January 9

Bhubaneswar:

A three-day Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention is being organized from today in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. Dignitaries from more than 50 countries are participating in this program. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will formally inaugurate this program on January 9. President Draupadi Murmu will deliver the valedictory address on January 10. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the chief guest, President of Trinidad and Tobago Christine Carla Kangaloo, will address it digitally. The theme of the conference is ‘Contribution of Overseas Indians to Developed India’.

More than 5 thousand NRIs will participate

At the same time, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja said that more than 5 thousand NRIs will participate in this program. 21 places have been selected in Bhubaneswar, Puri and Jajpur, where they will be taken. The objective of the conference is to increase international tourists in Odisha. Talking to IANS, Amit Kumar said about this program that I am an Indian and have been living and working in Singapore for the last 16 years. I am working in Standard Chartered Bank. I have come on behalf of Bhojpuri Association of Singapore and the High Commission of Singapore had called us.

“PM Modi invited us”

Mohan Charan Manjhi was also with us, we met him. He had also invited us on behalf of Prime Minister Modi ji and had also called us on his own behalf. It is a very pleasant thing that the Prime Minister’s message reached us and in the same way this message will be spreading across the world. You can understand how clear the vision of the government is that it is reaching the grassroots level, and this is very rare.

What would you say about developed India, and what changes have you noticed in the last decade? On this he said that everyone has developed equally and everyone is being given equal attention, no matter whether they belong to any section of the country or any other. You can see that our Lokesh, who became the youngest champion in the world, Modi ji called him, talked to him and asked how he can further take the country forward. If the Prime Minister’s vision is so clear that it reaches every person, then what can be bigger than this?

We are proud to be Indians

You also know that India’s population today ranks first or second in the world, and thus it has become possible to reach everyone. Wherever we have lived, whether it is in Africa or Guinea, everyone today feels proud to be an Indian. The respect of Indians has increased a lot in foreign countries, and this cannot be expressed in words.

At the same time, Dr. Arun Kumar Praheraj said that I have come from Bahrain to participate in this program. The change and progress we have seen in India in the last 10 years has been very positive. The 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Conference going to be held in Odisha is an important occasion, because it is being held under the leadership of our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Odisha is rich in mineral resources, tourism facilities and other potential opportunities, which can make the state more developed.

Indian community feeling respected abroad

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Indian community feels very respected even abroad. Indian embassies are providing education to Indians abroad about their facilities, investment opportunities and cultural awareness. It is increasing the identity and influence of Indians all over the world.
