Sandeep Dixit asked a question to Delhi CM Atishi
New Delhi:
Even before the Delhi Assembly elections, political temperature has started rising in the capital. On Thursday, the Aam Aadmi Party gave a 24-hour ultimatum to the Congress to take action against those leaders who had commented on Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal and filed a case against him. Amidst the ongoing tussle between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress, Sandeep Dixit has given a big statement. Sandeep Dikshit is one of the big leaders of Delhi Congress and is the son of former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. After the ultimatum of Aam Aadmi Party, he has said that the 40-day alliance with Aam Aadmi Party was the biggest mistake of the party. He said that I used to say it then and I say it even now.
He asked a question to Aam Aadmi Party that they should tell how much BJP is spending on my elections. I will hold a press conference on 27th December and ask Aam Aadmi Party a series of questions on their allegations. Kejriwal made only allegations in 10 years. On meeting the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, he said that when the Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana was started, we were skeptical. The issue is not which party is promising what because during elections the party makes promises. Congress governments have also offered similar amounts and we will tell the people of Delhi that if we come to power, we will announce similar benefits. The issue is not about promises but about how the Chief Minister and others started saying that they are increasing the amount under Mahila Samman Yojana. This is because an advertisement is issued by his own government that the Chief Minister is lying. There is no such scheme, there is no such provision. The department warned people that if they fill the form, fraud may occur. I have demanded from LG that this entire matter should be investigated.
What did Delhi CM Atishi say?
During the press conference on Thursday, CM Atishi said that we are giving 24 hours ultimatum to Congress to take action against its leaders. If action is not taken against these leaders within the given time, then the Aam Aadmi Party will talk to other parties to oust the Congress Party from the India alliance. CM Atishi said during this press conference that the Congress Party seems to be colluding with the Bharatiya Janata Party i.e. BJP before the Delhi Assembly elections. CM Atishi had further said in the press conference that if it is not so and if Congress does not want BJP to win in the upcoming elections, then action should be taken against Ajay Maken and Youth Congress leaders. If the Congress Party does not take action against such people then we no longer want to keep India in alliance with the Congress Party.
Ajay Maken had called Kejriwal anti national
CM Atishi had said that recently Ajay Maken had called Aam Aadmi Party coordinator Arvind Kejriwal anti-national. We will never tolerate this. Congress is in the India alliance with us, and even while being in the alliance, it is saying such things. Whereas despite BJP not being with us, he never called Kejriwal anti-national. But even after being in alliance, Congress leaders are filing cases against Aam Aadmi Party.
