However, in the year 2023, a dead donated his organ and once again Devendra Barlewar got the kidney. This kidney was given by brain-dad donor.
Dr. Anil Sharma, senior advisor and head of Urology at Amrita Hospital, successfully transplanted the kidney in January this year. After about 10 days, Barlewar was also discharged from the hospital.
