ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Finally, after a long debate, the schedule of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has been released. As was already being predicted, the tournament could be organized in Pakistan. Eight teams are participating in ICC Champions Trophy 2025
A total of eight teams from around the world will participate in the upcoming ICC tournament. Apart from host Pakistan, teams from India, New Zealand, Bangladesh, South Africa, Australia, England and Afghanistan are included.
Teams are divided into two groups
For the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, all eight teams have been divided into two groups. The teams of Pakistan, India, New Zealand and Bangladesh have been placed in Group ‘A’. Whereas Group ‘B’ includes the teams of South Africa, Australia, England and Afghanistan.
Indian team will compete with these teams in the league round
Team India’s first match in the league round is with the neighboring country Bangladesh cricket team on 20 February 2025. This match between the two teams will be played in Dubai.
After this, the next match of the Indian team is with the Pakistan cricket team. This high voltage match between the two teams will be played in Dubai on 23 February.
Team India will play its last match of the league round against New Zealand on March 2. This match will also be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
There will be a semi-final battle after the league round.
In the league round, the top two teams each from Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ will fight for the semi-finals. From here, the number of teams in their respective groups will face each other in Lahore/Dubai for the trophy. Whoever wins the final will win the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
How will Team India get entry in the final?
Now the question arises that how will Team India get entry in the final of ICC Champions Trophy 2025? So the answer is that first it has to perform well in the league round and defeat its opposition teams.
In the initial phase (league round), Rohit and company will try to perform well and register their name in the top 2. If the team remains first in the league round, then it will have to compete with the other team of Group ‘B’ in the semi-finals.
If the Indian team remains second in the league round, then it will have to face the first team of Group ‘B’ in the semi-finals. If Team India is successful in winning the semi-final match, then it will fight for the title on March 9. As soon as she wins here, she will become the champion of 2025.
ICC Champions Trophy in 5 matches and fistfights
To lift the title of ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the Blue Team will have to win a total of five matches. Here in its first three matches, it will face Bangladesh, Pakistan and New Zealand. And in the knock out round it will have to fight against the other two teams.
