India U19 vs United Arab Emirates U19, Vaibhav Suryavanshi: 13 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi from Bihar has created a stir in the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup being held in United Arab Emirates. The youngest player to be sold in the IPL auction has made a strong comeback in the third match after failing in the first two matches. Opening the innings with Ayush Mhatre in the match against UAE on Wednesday, he scored runs at a strike rate of 165.22 and scored a stormy half-century to help India win by 10 wickets.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi faced 46 balls during his innings and he played an unbeaten inning of 76 runs with the help of 3 fours and 6 sixes. During this time, he got full support from Ayush Mhatre, who scored unbeaten 67 runs in 51 balls with the help of four fours and four sixes. On the basis of the explosive batting of these two, India achieved its second win of the tournament by defeating UAE by 10 wickets.

A comeback with a bang after flopping in two matches

13 year old Vaibhav from Bihar had earlier proved to be a flop in the matches against Pakistan and then against Japan. Against Pakistan, he scored 1 run in 9 balls, whereas in the match against Japan, he was able to score only 23 runs. Mohammad Aman played an unbeaten inning of 122 runs for India in the match against Japan. But Vaibhav made a comeback in the third match and scored an unbeaten 76 runs.

Rajasthan bought it in auction for 1.10 crores

Born on 27 March 2011 in Tajpur village of Bihar, Vaibhav Suryavanshi started playing cricket at the age of just five years. While talking to NDTV, his father Sanjeev Suryavanshi told that he had planned to make Vaibhav a cricketer since childhood. Vaibhav’s father also used to be a state level cricketer. At that time Bihar Cricket Association was not recognized. In such a situation, he could play only till Bihar and remained confined here, but for Vaibhav he had something else in mind.

Vaibhav, who entered the IPL auction held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with his base price of Rs 30 lakh, was bought by Rajasthan Royals team for Rs 1 crore 10 lakh. During this, Vaibhav became the youngest player to be sold in the history of IPL at the age of 13 years and 8 months. Vaibhav recently created a record by scoring a century in just 58 balls in the Under-19 Youth Test match against Australia. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has also become the batsman to score the fastest century for India in the Youth Test.

India’s second win of the tournament

In this match, UAE won the toss and decided to bat first. After this, on the basis of three wickets of Yudhjit Guha and two wickets each of Chetan Sharma and Hardik Raj, India restricted UAE to 137 runs. In this tournament being held in 50 overs format, UAE team collapsed in just 44 overs. The batsman who scored the most runs for UAE was Ryan Khan, who scored 35 runs, while Akshat Rai was successful in scoring 26 runs. In response, the Indian team was successful in winning the match by scoring 143 runs in just 16.1 overs.

The Indian team, present in Group A along with Pakistan, UAE and Japan, has now come to the first place with two wins and one loss in three matches. The Indian team has qualified for the next round with four points. Let us tell you, India had started its campaign against Pakistan and in that match India had to face defeat by 43 runs, whereas against Japan the Indian team had registered a big win by 211 runs.
