Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva gave all the MLAs membership of the party.
8 MLAs who left the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) joined the BJP on Saturday. A day earlier, these MLAs had described not getting tickets in elections and corruption as the reason for their resignation.
Voting is on 5 February for the Delhi assembly elections. 4 days before this, these leaders joining BJP can become a big problem for AAP. The party’s vote may be affected.
AAP MLA Rituraj Jha accused the BJP of luring these MLAs. He had said that I was also lured to leave the party, but I will be in AAP till the last moment.
The AAP had announced the names of 70 candidates in a total of 5 list between November 21 and December 20 i.e. in 30 days. In this, the tickets of 26 MLAs were cut while the seat of 4 MLAs was changed. Voting is to be held in Delhi on 5 February. The result will come on 8 February.
Dainik Bhaskar had told on December 11 that the MLAs whose tickets have been cut can revolt from the party.
Seelampur MLA resigns on 10 December The Aam Aadmi Party released the first list of candidates on 21 November. It was not named Celampur MLA Abdul Rahman. Abdul Rahman openly came in protest against Arvind Kejriwal.
In the discussion with Dainik Bhaskar, he told that he did not give me a ticket and did not even tell why he did not give tickets. Saturn is riding on Kejriwal. They themselves are bent on ending the party.
On 10 December, Abdul Rahman resigned from the party. He accused Arvind Kejriwal and his party of indifference to Muslims.
The legislators explained the reason for the resignation
1. Naresh Yadav, Mehrauli: Yadav, who was an MLA from the seat, said that the party is in the quagmire of corruption. The people of Delhi know that AAP has included corrupt people in the party.
2. Pawan Sharma, Adarsh Nagar: The ideology on which the Aam Aadmi Party was formed has deviated from that ideology. The mind is very sad to see the plight of AAP.
3. Bhupender Singh June, Bijwasan: The values on which the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was established, now the gross neglect of those moral norms is worrying. The party gave tickets to criminal backgrounds.
4. Madanlal, Kasturba Nagar: My trust with the Aam Aadmi Party is completely over, so I am resigning from the party.
5. Rohit Mehraulia, Trilokpuri: Those who want only photos of Babasaheb Ambedkar, not their thoughts, my ties with such opportunities and artificial people from today. I resign from all posts including primary membership of AAP.
6. Rajesh Rishi, Janakpuri: The AAP was based on the principles of corruption -free governance, transparency and accountability. From the party, I have seen an important distance from these values. The party has become a bowl of corruption and nepotism.
7. Bhavna Gaur, Palam: My confidence with the party is completely over, so I am resigning from the primary membership of the party.
8. Girish Soni: I believe the party has deviated from its original principle. Now its direction is not towards the goals and values that I have always maintained.
