On Monday in Indore, Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat presented Devi Ahilya Award to Champat Rai.

He said that we always talked about socialism, employment, poverty, but what happened. Come with us, Japan and Israel, where have they reached today? RSS chief Bhagwat was addressing the people at Lata Mangeshkar Auditorium in Rajendra Nagar.

He honored Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Trust, with the Devi Ahilya National Award. This time this award has been dedicated to the known and unknown kar sevaks of Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Andolan and the participants in the construction of Ram temple.

Bhagwat also said this Ahilya’s kingdom is like Ram’s kingdom

The temple was consecrated last year. There was no fight. No discord came to light. Goddess Ahilya ran her kingdom like Ramrajya. Pratistha Dwadashi was celebrated on 11 January. A temple was built in Ayodhya.

The country’s constitution is self-made

  • The Constitution of the country is self-made. Swa means Ram, Krishna and Shiva. In this way only Ram, Krishna and Shiva unite India. Even though our worship methods changed, our self remains in force. No one can deny this. Ram connects South India with North India. Krishna is spread from east to west and Shiva is spread in every corner of India.

Shri Ram Mandir of Ayodhya is the result of the cooperation of many known and unknown kar sevaks, administrators, officials, advocates and other citizens. Thousands of saints raised awareness about Ram temple. This was not possible with any one person. No one knows how many lives were lost and how many sacrifices were made in these years.

Referring to Ashok Singhal, Buta Singh, Kothari brothers and many others, Champat Rai said-

The time has come to liberate the god places of Ayodhya, Mathura and Kashi. This point was first raised by Congress MP Dau Dayal in an event in 1983. Then gradually it took the form of a movement. 75 battles were fought for Ram Janmabhoomi. This award is dedicated to all of them.

So far 21 people have received the award Devi Ahilya Award was started in 1996. The first award was given to Nanaji Deshmukh by the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Till now 21 personalities have been given this award. Till now, prominent persons like Rajmata Scindia, Pandurang Shastri Athawale, Padmashree Dr. Raghunath Anant Mashlekar, Sudha Murthy, Sadhvi Ritambhara and Dr. Pranab Pandya have received this award.
