At present, the harsh winter continues in Delhi-NCR. The havoc of dense fog is also being seen. On Wednesday, there was such a dense fog in Delhi-NCR that nothing could be seen all around. The entire Delhi seems to be wrapped in a blanket of fog. Visibility has become almost zero, due to which nothing nearby can be seen on the roads. The cold wave that continues throughout the day along with dense fog is also troubling. The fog is so dense that people have to think even before leaving their homes for office. Sending children to school in dense fog has also become a cause of trouble for the family.

Delhi in the grip of fog
Along with severe cold, Delhi NCR is also facing the brunt of dense fog. On Wednesday morning, only fog was visible all around. There is such dense fog at many places that visibility has become absolutely zero. Nothing even close can be seen on the roads, hence vehicles are moving crawling on the roads. The situation is such that in many places nothing is visible even 10 meters away. In such a situation, vehicles have to move on the roads with parking lights on. Due to dense fog, the speed of trains and vehicles has slowed down. Besides, there is a lot of delay in flights also. Delhi Airport has advised to contact the airlines to know the status of flights.

Rain alert in Delhi
The Meteorological Department had already predicted that there will be dense fog at most places on Wednesday morning. The same thing happened, there was heavy fog everywhere. However, there may be light rain in the evening and night. There will be dense fog on 17th and 18th January. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature can be around 19 and minimum 9 degrees. It may rain on the morning of 16th January also. It will remain cloudy throughout the day. Due to this, shivering may increase further during the day. The maximum temperature can be 18 and minimum 10 degrees. The maximum temperature can be 18 degrees and the minimum can be 7 to 8 degrees. There will be moderate fog on 19th and 20th January.
How is the weather in UP, Punjab-Haryana?
Dense fog is present not only in Delhi but also in Uttar Pradesh. There is very dense fog in Punjab also. The morning of the people of Haryana also started with dense fog. Yellow alert has been issued for today. Dense fog can also trouble the people of Punjab from 16 to 18 January. Meanwhile the cold will increase further. Talking about Haryana, yellow alert of dense fog has been declared here also today. The fog will wreak havoc like this till January 18. The minimum temperature in Chandigarh during this period will go up to 8 degrees.
