Doug Bracewell has taken 26 wickets in 21 ODIs.
New Zealand fast bowler Doug Bracewell has been banned for one month for taking cocaine. In January this year, he tested positive for cocaine after a T20 match played between Central Stags and Wellington.
In this match, Bracewell played a match-winning inning, he took two wickets while bowling first, and then scored 30 runs in 11 balls. For which he was given the title of Player of the Match.
The Sports Integrity Commission had imposed a one-month ban on Bracewell.
Sports Integrity Commission imposed ban Sports Integrity Commission Te Kahu Raunui bans New Zealand cricketer. However, the cocaine was consumed before the start of the tournament and hence, he received a lesser punishment.
The sentence, which was initially three months, was reduced to one month. After which the one month suspension was stayed till April 2024. The New Zealand fast bowler has already completed his ban, allowing him to resume playing cricket any time.

Bracewell has played 28 Tests, 21 ODIs and 20 T20 matches for New Zealand. He has taken 74 wickets in 28 test matches. He has 26 wickets in his name in 21 ODI matches and 20 wickets in his name in 20 T-20 matches.
Bracewell played his last match against Sri Lanka in Wellington in March 2023.
