A shocking case has come to light in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh (Gwalior Murder Case). According to the information, here a father shot and killed his daughter. Before her death, the victim had shared a video of herself on social media, in which she accused her family of forcing her to marry and also told that she was in love with someone else.

This murder took place at around 9 pm on Tuesday evening in Gola Ka Mandir area of ​​the city. Reportedly, victim Tanu’s father Mahesh Gurjar got angry over the video posted by his daughter on social media and in a fit of rage he shot her with a country-made gun. Tanu’s cousin Rahul allegedly acted as an accomplice who fired additional bullets, resulting in Tanu’s death.

Shortly before her murder, Tanu had recorded a video and posted it on social media. In this she had alleged that her family was getting her married against her wishes. In this 52-second video, he had accused his father Mahesh and other family members and said that his life was in danger.

In the video, Tanu said, “I want to marry Vicky. Initially my family agreed to it but later they refused. They beat me every day and threaten to kill me. If I do anything If it happens, my family is responsible for it.” Vicky Mavai, the beggar mentioned by Tanu in the video, lives in Agra, Uttar Pradesh and was in a relationship with Tanu for the last 6 years.
Police had reached Tanu’s house to solve the matter after the video went viral.
After the video went viral, police officers led by Superintendent of Police Dharamveer Singh reached Tanu’s house and brokered a compromise between the disputing parties. A community panchayat was also organized to resolve the matter. During this time, Tanu refused to stay at home and requested that she be taken to the One Stop Center (a government-run initiative that aims to provide protection to women affected by violence). However, her father said that he wanted to talk to Tanu in private.

What happened after this surprised everyone. Mahesh had a country-made pistol and shot his daughter in the chest. Simultaneously, Rahul also fired bullets into Tanu’s forehead, neck and the space between her eyes and nose and Tanu died on the spot.
Police arrested Tanu’s father
After this, the father and cousin pointed weapons at the police and family members and threatened further violence. Mahesh was overpowered and arrested, but Rahul managed to escape with the pistol. Let us tell you that Tanu’s marriage was to take place on January 18 and she was murdered just four days before that. According to the police, Mahesh Gurjar has been arrested and the weapon has also been confiscated. Also, efforts are being made to find Rahul.
