Naiduniya Representative, Vidisha. Union Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has announced that 14 lakh PM houses will be built in Madhya Pradesh in a year. For this, an amount of Rs 30 thousand 672 crore will be given to the state government.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan was addressing the house warming program of PM residence organized in Vidisha on Wednesday. During this, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and State Panchayat Minister Prahlad Patel were also present.
Pledge given for one country, one election

In a program organized in the old agricultural market complex, Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Chauhan said that in the month of September last year, 3 lakh 68 thousand 500 PM houses were given to the state. Today, 8 lakh 21 thousand 190 houses have been approved under Awas Plus.
- He said that an amount of Rs 3 lakh 12 thousand crore has been given to the state government for creating Lakhpati Didi in the state, Rs 5 thousand 628 crore for MNREGA and Rs 267 crore for PM Gramin Sadak. An additional amount of Rs 500 crore will be given for PM Sadak.

- At the conclusion of his address, he made the people present pledge for one nation, one election. He said that frequent elections lead to wastage of time and money, hence all elections should be held simultaneously.
CM said- Vidisha will be made Municipal Corporation
- In the program, on the demand of Shivraj, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced to give the status of Municipal Corporation to Vidisha Municipality. He said that Vidisha will be made a Municipal Corporation by connecting the nearby Gram Panchayats, so that better efforts can be made for the city. Now the next election in the city will be for the Mayor of the Municipal Corporation.

- He said that Vidisha has also been included in the capital mega project. Soon a master plan will also be made for this. During this, on the demand of MLA Mukesh Tandon, he said that the district hospital will be merged with the medical college, small irrigation projects will be started to promote irrigation, Janaki Kund will be constructed and Betwa tourism corridor will be built.
- In this program, the ministers inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs 177 crore. On this occasion, keys of new houses were given to five PM beneficiaries and house approval letters were given to five new beneficiaries.
