ED raid on former senior sub-registrar in Gwalior: Arora is close to millionaire former constable Saurabh Sharma, team of officers arrived at 5 in the morning – Madhya Pradesh News

ED (Enforcement Directorate) has raided CP Colony located in Murar in Gwalior. The action has been taken at the house of former senior sub-registrar KK Arora. Arora is said to be associated with former RTO constable Saurabh Sharma. ED team reached Arora at around 5 in the morning

Arora, a former senior sub-registrar, is Vinay Haswani’s business partner. A car laden with 54 kg gold and Rs 11 crore cash was found from Vinay Haswani’s farm house in Mendori, Bhopal. He is the son-in-law of former DSP Munish Rajoria, maternal uncle of former RTO constable Saurabh Sharma.

According to neighbors, KK Arora and his wife had left the house 25 days ago. He is in Bengaluru. There are two tenants living in his house, who are being interrogated. The ED team had locked the tenants inside the house during the raid. Their children were also not allowed to go to school.

Former senior sub-registrar KK Arora is Vinay Haswani’s business partner.

Saurabh accused of commission in posting at check post Saurabh Sharma, who was a constable in the Transport Department (RTO), and his close ones are accused of commission for posting at the checkpoints. Saurabh created an illegal empire worth crores across the state in just 12 years of service.

Saurabh, originally from Gwalior, got compassionate appointment in place of his father. Within a few years of service, his lifestyle had changed. When complaints about this were made to other investigating agencies including the Transport Department, Saurabh decided to take VRS. After this, he started investing in property with many renowned builders of Bhopal.

Lokayukta’s action was going on at Saurabh’s hideouts, meanwhile, on the night of 19 and 20 December, the Income Tax team recovered 54 kg gold ingots and Rs 11 crore in cash from an Innova car in the forest of Mendori.

Vinay Haswani was the one who took the car to the farm house. According to sources, Vinay Haswani had taken the Innova car to Mendori twice in a convoy of four to five vehicles on December 19, 2024. After this his people were continuously watching this car. There are only 3 farm houses at the place where the vehicle was seized. There is no way to go beyond that.

The Income Tax and police team also found Rs 11 crore in cash from the Innova car.

The house of relatives was also raided in Jabalpur. Earlier, the team of Enforcement Directorate (ED) Bhopal had raided the hideout of Saurabh Sharma’s brother-in-law Rohit Tiwari in Jabalpur. ED has raided the houses and offices of Saurabh’s associate Sharad Jaiswal in Bhopal and Chetan Singh Gaur in Gwalior and seized movable and immovable assets worth Rs 23 crore. ED is investigating the case separately from the Income Tax Department’s investigation.

Three agencies had conducted raids Let us tell you that within 9 days, three investigating agencies – ED, Lokayukta and Income Tax Department had raided the house of former RTO constable Saurabh Sharma. During this period, he acquired property worth more than Rs 93 crore. These include 54 kg gold and Rs 11 crore cash found in the car.
