The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team on Friday raided eight places in Bhopal and Gwalior of Madhya Pradesh in the case related to the black money of former transport constable Saurabh Sharma. In Gwalior, ED conducted searches at four places associated with former Sub Registrar of Registration Department and lawyer KK Arora.
Searches were conducted at Navodaya Cancer Hospital and his residence located at two places of Dr. Shyam Aggarwal in Bhopal. The investigation process continued till late night at both the places. Raids have been conducted in both cities on suspicion of money laundering.
According to sources, ED suspects that the use of Saurabh Sharma’s illegal earnings may be related to his business. However, the truth will emerge in the investigation and interrogation of the seized documents.
Large number of investment related documents
Sources said that in the raids at all the places, the ED team has seized a large number of documents related to investment. After the completion of the search operation, it will be known by Saturday evening how much cash or jewelery etc. has been seized in addition to the documents.
Let us tell you that on the basis of the FIR lodged with the Lokayukta Police in the disproportionate assets case, ED had registered a case against Saurabh Sharma. Even before this, ED has raided eight places of Saurabh Sharma’s close relatives.
Arora started practicing law after retirement
A three-member ED team reached the house of KK Arora, resident of CP Colony in Murar, under the tight security of CRPF jawans and Murar police station forces. There was a knock on the door at seven in the morning, then CRPF jawans and Murar police station forces surrounded Arora’s house from all sides.
The search operation continued throughout the day. KK Arora started practicing law after retiring from the post of Sub Registrar in the Registration Department. Vinay Haswani, resident of Kalpana Nagar, Murar, is also a lawyer, who is the husband of Saurabh Sharma’s aunt’s daughter.
Innova car filled with 52 kg gold and rupees
An Innova car filled with 52 kg of gold and rupees was found at Vinay’s farm house in Mendori. Later investigation revealed that it was Vinay who took the vehicle to the farm house in Mendori.
Vinay is the son-in-law of retired DSP Munish Rajouria, resident of Gwalior. Vinay also practiced law. On the other hand, after retirement, KK Arora was also practicing law. It has been learned that both of them are also business partners.
Discussion of happening in Bengaluru
ED team raided here, but the news is that KK Arora and his wife were not there. These people left from here after the case of Saurabh Sharma came to light. These people are reported to be in Bengaluru.
Mother found at Vinay’s house
Naidunia’s team reached Vinay’s house, so that he could talk to him and know his side. When the Naidunia team reached in the afternoon, their mother was found. He told that Vinay does not live here.
She said- Vinay has been living in Bhopal for three years. Hyundai Eon car MP07 CD 4268 was found parked outside Vinay’s house. This car is registered in the name of retired DSP Munish Rajouria on the website of the Transport Department.
