By tampering with it, the accused recommended allotment of control shop. When the officials became suspicious, the investigation revealed fraud.

Naiduniya Representative, Shivpuri. Two letterheads of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia shocked the officers. The outgoing number was the same on both. In one, it was written to close the liquor shop. From this letter, a fake letter was prepared and given to the manager of Primary Forest Produce Cooperative Society Lakhari Khaniyadhana.
In this, it was recommended to allot the control shop to one person. When the committee manager gave this letter to the food department, the investigation started. This letter was found to be fake. After this, an FIR has been registered on Saturday against accused Karan Singh Lodhi and Lokpal Lodhi (both residents of Nayagaon Bijrawan Khaniyadhana) in Bamourakalan police station.
Story of fake letter to Jyotiraditya Scindia
- A letter from Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia was issued on 22 July 2024. In this, it was mentioned that the liquor shop under Pichor police station was closed and the shop was returned from Saurabh Contractor.
- After receiving the letter, the Collector had directed the Excise Department to take action. This letter was written on the complaint of Karan Singh. After this, on the basis of this letter, a fake letter of Union Minister Scindia was prepared.
- Karan Singh himself gave this letter to the Committee Manager, Primary Forest Produce Cooperative Society, Lakhari Khaniyadhana. In this, it was recommended to allot the control shop to Lokpal Lodhi.
- When the committee manager reached the food department with this letter, he was surprised. In this way a letter is never sent to any committee manager. If the Union Minister writes a letter on any matter, it reaches only through the Collector.
- When the Food Department started the investigation, letters were taken out from the Collector’s office on the basis of outgoing numbers. It was revealed that a fake letter had been prepared using the outgoing number of the letter that had come regarding action at the liquor shop.
- After this, a crime has been registered against Karan Singh and Lokpal Lodhi in Bamourakalan under section 318 (4), 338, 336 (3) of the Indian Penal Code and investigation has been started. The involvement of other people in the case is also being investigated.
