Rahul Gandhi has appealed to people to join the White T-shirt Movement.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday launched the ‘White T-Shirt Movement’ campaign for the poor and working class. Congress says that white tee is not just a piece of cloth, but a symbol of standing for the protection of the Constitution and justice.
The party further said that today the working class is living under severe pressure due to the wrong policies of the Modi government. Rising inflation has shattered their dreams. Companies are profitable, but their income is not increasing. Life is getting worse.
The working classes are becoming victims of oppression, violence and exploitation. Wealth inequality is a big problem in the country. This gap is bigger on the basis of caste and religion. We have to bridge this gap.
Rahul’s 2 statements regarding the campaign….
1. Modi’s focus on making the rich richer Modi government has turned its back on the poor and working class. They have been left completely to their own devices. The government’s entire focus is on further enriching only a few capitalists. Because of this, inequality is continuously increasing and the condition of the workers who water the country with their blood and sweat is getting worse. They are forced to face various types of injustice and atrocities.
2. Join the campaign to provide justice to the poor In such a situation, it is the responsibility of all of us to come together and raise our voice strongly to provide them justice and rights. With this thinking in mind, we are starting the #WhiteTshirtMovement. Rahul said that I appeal to the youth and working class colleagues to participate enthusiastically in this movement.
Rahul’s T-shirt came into discussion in 2022
Rahul Gandhi’s T-shirt came into discussion during Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra in September 2022. He wore a white colored t-shirt of Burberry company. BJP tweeted his photo and wrote – Bharat Dekho, T-shirt worth Rs 41 thousand. BJP also showed the price tag of the company’s online sale in its tweet.
In response to BJP’s tweet, Congress had written- Hey… are you scared? Seeing the huge crowd in Bharat Jodo Yatra. Talk about the issue… talk about unemployment and inflation. If we want to discuss the rest of the clothes, then the discussion will extend to Modi ji’s suit worth Rs 10 lakh and glasses worth Rs 1.5 lakh. Tell me what to do?
