The Meteorological Department has issued a fog alert in 11 states on Saturday. At the same time, in Jammu and Kashmir, the day temperature is expected to rise and the minimum temperature will fall by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius in the next 5 days.

Earlier on Friday, a drop in the minimum temperature was recorded in Kashmir. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature on Thursday was minus 3.3 degrees Celsius in Srinagar, minus 7 degrees in Pahalgam and minus 8.5 degrees Celsius in Gulmarg.

Due to dense fog, about 34 flights were delayed at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport on Friday. Four flights returned from the ramp to the parking bay.

There is a possibility of strong winds with clear sky in Delhi on Saturday. There are chances of this wind becoming stronger at night. There may also be light fog or mist in the morning.

At the same time, the temperature was recorded below 10 degrees Celsius at many places in Punjab on Friday. The Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature was recorded at 3.8 degrees in Faridkot, 5.2 degrees in Amritsar and 5.7 degrees Celsius in Pathankot.
