Dhule: Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is proving to be a boon for the poor. With this, not only are the poor able to get the roof of their dreams, but this scheme of the Government of India is also helping in eradicating poverty in the country. This scheme, which was re-drafted on April 1, 2016 according to the number and population of the poor in the country, is providing permanent houses to lakhs of people every year.
Fulfilling dreams with PM Awas Yojana
Beneficiaries from low income and economically weaker sections are realizing their dream of owning a permanent house through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The living standards of economically backward citizens are improving and they are able to get their own houses, with the aim of achieving this, the central and state governments are providing financial assistance to such people to build houses. This scheme is being implemented through local self-government institutions.
He told IANS, “The condition of my house was very bad earlier. I used to spend my days in the tile house. Because of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, we got the house of our dreams. For this we wholeheartedly thank PM Modi. We used to face a lot of trouble in the tile house during rainy days. Modi government has been kind to us in this matter. For this we thank him very much. The government has done very good work. People who have got houses under this scheme. All those people will thank PM Modi.”
