After the announcement of by-elections in UP, CM Yogi held 13 rallies, two road shows in five days.

Lucknow:

After the announcement of elections, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath prepared the ground for the by-elections by holding 13 rallies and two road shows in ‘Apne UP’ in five days. CM Yogi Adityanath worked hard in this by-election by deciding on the formula of ‘first development, then dialogue’. Under ‘Mission-9’, along with maintaining the victory of Ghaziabad, Khair, Meerapur, Majhwan, Phulpur, he also sweated a lot in Kartik and Margashirsha (Aghaan month) to make lotus bloom on other seats.

While Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge was his target, CM Yogi showed him the mirror by targeting the policies and intentions of Akhilesh Yadav. In the rallies of Uttar Pradesh by-election, SP national president Akhilesh Yadav and in other rallies Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge as well as the mafia were the targets of CM Yogi Adityanath.

He clearly told the voters to support the government in removing mafia from other states like ‘Mafia-free Uttar Pradesh’. Mafia has to be removed and lotus has to bloom again for development. This appeal of CM Yogi is proving to be very effective. Seeing the plight of the mafia in UP, the voters have gathered with their call to make the lotus bloom again in the by-elections and general elections.

These seats became vacant after MLAs from BJP-allied parties became MPs from Ghaziabad, Khair, Mirapur, Majhwa and Phulpur. In the by-election, BJP has given tickets to Sanjeev Sharma from Ghaziabad, Surendra Diler from Khair, Suchismita Maurya from Majhwa and Deepak Patel from Phulpur. RLD’s Mithilesh Pal is in the fray from Meerapur seat. While Yogi Adityanath appealed to the voters to make the lotus bloom again on these seats, people also shed a lot of sweat to make the lotus bloom in other seats of UP like Katehari, Karhal, Kundarki and Sisamau. Voting will take place in UP on 20th November and results will be declared on 23rd.

Leaving aside the by-election of his wife Dimple Yadav before the Lok Sabha elections, generally in the by-elections, Akhilesh Yadav used to leave his own candidates in the lurch. Candidates used to wait for him, but Akhilesh did not go for campaigning. Even if we talk about assembly by-elections, there were many such occasions when SP candidates were looking for support. When he needed his loved ones, Akhilesh remained absent, but CM Yogi held the hands of his loved ones in every election. Seeing the hard work of CM Yogi, Akhilesh also finally remembered his loved ones in this by-election.

Whenever by-elections were held in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath took charge of the campaign as a BJP worker. The result was that BJP and its allies did great things. In Gola Gokarnath, the seat became vacant due to the death of the then MLA Arvind Giri, while in 2022, due to Yogi’s campaign, Aman Giri was successful in winning the seat from here. In May 2023, Rinki Kol of Apna Dal (Sonelal) won the by-election on Chhanbe seat and Shafiq Ansari of Apna Dal (S) won the election in Swar Tanda. CM Yogi worked hard for both of them and after communicating with the public, took them to Lucknow.

The victory of Akash Saxena in Rampur and Arvind Singh in the by-election from Dadraul is also the result of CM Yogi’s communication. In the by-election held after the death of Ashutosh Tandon from Lucknow East, Chief Minister Yogi campaigned for BJP candidate OP Srivastava, who also reached the House after winning from this seat.
