35 to 40 people were killed in a stampede on the Sangam coast in Mahakumbh late on Tuesday night. On Wednesday evening, the UP government confirmed the death of 30 people, 25 of them have been identified, 19 of those who died, 4 from Karnataka, one each from Gujarat and Assam.
