Nayeduniya Representative, Bhopal: A separate controversy seems to arise in the Teacher Recruitment Examination of MP Employees Selection Board (ESB). The candidates of the economically weaker section (EWS) have raised questions on that rule.

Under this, Scheduled Castes, Tribes and Other Backward Classes have been given five years in the maximum age limit and five percent in educational qualification qualification. The EWS Union of India is preparing to go to the High Court on this issue.

Selection examination is being conducted for the recruitment of seven thousand 929 posts of secondary teacher in the school education department and tribal work department. Employees Selection Board has started the application process for this from 28 January.

Exemption of up to 5 years fixed

When its rules came to light, three reserved classes were talked about five years exemption in the maximum limit of age to Scheduled Castes, Tribes and Other Backward Classes, while in general this limit is 40 years for men and 45 years for women.

So the controversy arose

At the same time, in the educational qualification, the qualifying marks which were fixed at 50 percent, these classes were also given a discount of up to five percent. Meanwhile, controversy has arisen over the examination of five years exemption in the age limit to SC-ST and OBC in the examination. The EWS (Economically weaker section) has not received any such exemption.

Everyone exempted except EWS

In the rules of the division, except EWS, the remaining three reserved classes have also been given five percent discount in qualifying marks of educational qualifications. Now the EWS class is filing a petition in the court, calling it a violation of the right to equality.

It is being said that he had remedied this to Mandal, but there was no hearing there. The EWS Association, an organization, has announced to go to court, calling it a violation of the right to equality.

EWS deprived of exemption

The president of the organization Dheeraj Tiwari says that the EWS has been denied the exemption, it is a violation of the principles of equality and social justice. We are going to court against it. If this rule is for reserved classes, then they should also get such exemption.

Here, Employees Selection Board says that EWS has no prohibition of such discounts. The recruitment process of the mandal is correct according to the rules.

The exam will start from March 20

The last date for application for this examination is 11 February. The exam will start from March 20. It is mandatory for the candidates to pass the teacher eligibility test of 2018 or 2023.
