Voting is going on for Maharashtra Assembly elections. Long queues of voters are being seen at polling stations at different places since seven in the morning. This time there is a direct contest between Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi in the elections. In Maharashtra politics, it has never been decided who will form an alliance with whom and when. Whenever someone happened, he was seen forming new alliances for his convenience and to reach the seat of power. The formula for choosing the Chief Minister is not fixed

Mahayuti alliance leader and NCP chief Ajit Pawar told NDTV that the target of Mahayuti is to get 175 seats in Maharashtra. No formula has been decided yet for choosing the Chief Minister. There will be a meeting of all the constituent parties of Mahayuti on 23rd and the Chief Minister will be discussed in it. Recently, two big leaders of the Mahayuti alliance, Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, are seen standing in front of each other regarding one such statement. Devendra Fadnavis had responded to Ajati Pawar’s statement on ‘Bantenge to Katenge’. Devendra Fadnavis had said that for decades Ajit Pawar has been with ideologies which are secular and anti-Hindu. There is no real secularism among those who call themselves secular. They have been with people for whom opposing Hindutva is secularism.
