All the nine fake candidates were caught by the BSF and lodged an FIR against them late on Monday night at Biloua police station in Gwalior. In interrogation, the nationwide network of Salwar and his brokers may be ruled out.

A special team has been formed by Gwalior Police officials to reach its root. On Tuesday, all the accused were arrested and brought to Biloua police station. According to police station in -charge Ela Tandon, they will be produced in court on Wednesday and taken on remand.

Fake candidates said in the initial inquiry that the online examination for recruitment of 800 vacant posts in BSF was conducted in the year 2024. In this, Salwar was contacted through brokers. Some rupees were given before the examination and after passing the rest of the rupee.

Salvars applied in their own name. Samples of their biometric identity were taken at the time of application and examination. Earlier, the documents and biometric identity were tested between 21 and 25 January. In this, these fake candidates had come to join in the name of Salwar. The fraud opened up due to non -confirmation of biometric identity.

All the salwar are from Chhattisgarh. There are two candidates of the same name but the address is different. It is feared that Salwar may be members of the same gang. It is also possible that their documents are also fake. For this, the police will have to reach them.
