Indore News: IDA from Malwa Mill to Rasoma intersection will create elevated corridor

If this elevated corridor takes the form of embodiment, the journey of about three km from Malwa Mill intersection to Rasoma intersection will be completed in four to five minutes. It currently takes about 20 minutes. After the elevated corridor is formed from Malwa Mill to Rasoma intersection, the vehicles will reach Berocatok AB Road from Malwa Mill.

Indore Development Authority (IDA) is now going to build an elevated caridor from Malwa Mill to Rasoma intersection. Soon its feasibility survey and DPR will be prepared, consultants will be appointed. The IDA will also explore flyer possibilities at Rasoma and Robot intersection.

In the meeting of the IDA Directors Board held on Wednesday, several important proposals including elevated corridor, city one, startup park were decided. Considering the number of growing vehicles from Malwa Mill, it was decided that a feasibility survey should be conducted to create elevated corridors here.

Vehicles will not get caught in jam at the intersection

There is a 30 meter wide road from Malwa Mill to Patnipura. Despite this, there is a situation of jam. Actually, there is encroachment of shopkeepers on this route. At Patnipura intersection, the condition gets very bad. Crossing this intersection at a time is almost impossible. There is also a jam due to encroachment between Patnipura to Rasoma intersection.

Collector Ashish Singh, Chief Engineer CS Kharat, IDA CEO RP Ahirwar and other officers were present in this meeting chaired by Divisional Commissioner and IDA President Deepak Singh.

-Startup park will be built on PPP model

The meeting discussed the revised design of the Startup Park at Plan 151, located at the Super Corridor. It was decided that the startup park should be constructed on the public-private partnership (PPP) model. Proposals will be invited for this. The presentation of the Convention Center was also given in Scheme 172.

-The suggestions will be taken for selection and maintenance

The IDA has completed the work of KUMED ISBT and Senior Citizen Complex. The suggestions will be taken by appointing transaction advisor for their operation, maintenance and improvement work. After the approval of the Board of Directors on these suggestions, the proposal for operation will be prepared.

-Consultant will be appointed to develop the city forest in 97 Part Four

Road will be constructed in TPS four, tender was approved for this.

-Two thousand square meters plot on the corridor will be allotted to Agromart

-Avantika gas company will be provided plots on the super corridor.

Elevated corridor plan could not be completed here

Even before this, there was a plan to create elevate corridors in the city, but could never take tangible form. It was first planned on Jawahar Marg. It was claimed that this would get rid of the problem of jam on Jawahar Marg. After this, a four -and -a -half km between LIG to Naulakha intersection and four km long elevated corridor from the Agricultural College intersection to the bypass were planned, but work could not be started on it. Now survey is being done in 2.7 km long area from Radisson intersection to Bapat intersection.
