In the 15 members who have announced a panel of 15 members, 12 umpires will be seen on the field in this competition of 8 teams. While three umpires will be seen in the role of match referee.

Richard Ketterboro, who was a field umpire in the final of the Champions Trophy in UK in 2017, is part of the 12 -member panel. Six match officials of the 2017 Champions Trophy final have got a place in the panel. Richard Ketterboro has an umpiring experience in 108 ODIs. He will also be accompanied by Chris Gaffni, Kumar Dharmasena, Richard Illingworth, Paul Refel and Rod Tucker, who also umpiring in the 2017 tournament.

Kumar Dharmasena of Sri Lanka will extend his record in the upcoming tournament to 132 ODIs. This is a record for an umpire of a Sri Lankan captain in ODI format. He was accompanied by Michael Gough, Adrian Holdstock, Ahsan Raza, Shafududdaula Ibne Shahid, Alex Wharf and Joel Wilson, all of which umpiring the World Cup in India.

The panel of the match referee will be headed by David Boon, Ranjan Madugale and Andrew Picroft, which Emirates are all respected members of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referee. According to the ICC, Seen Easy, senior manager of the umpire and the referee’s ICC, said, “We are happy to announce this highly reliable team of match officials for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025.”
