Video journalist dies after being hit by BMW
Chennai: A case of hit and run has come to light in Chennai. Here a video journalist of a Telugu channel died after being hit by a speeding BMW car. The collision was so strong that the video journalist jumped in the air and fell 100 meters away. This accident happened on the elevated highway. The video journalist has been identified as Pradeep Kumar. Was a cameraperson in Telugu news channel. Along with this, he also worked as a part time Rapido biker.
BMW driver absconding
According to the information, video journalist Pradeep Kumar’s bike was hit by a speeding BMW car on Maduravoyal-Tambaram elevated bypass road. The collision was so severe that journalist Pradeep jumped in the air and fell 100 meters away. After the accident, the driver of the BMW left the car and fled from the spot.
Pradeep fell from the elevated highway
When people passing by saw the BMW car at the spot and the bike badly damaged in the accident, they informed the police. Police found a BMW car and a damaged bike on the spot but did not find anyone else. When the police started searching nearby, the body of the video journalist was found below the elevated road, 100 meters away from the accident site. He had died in the accident. According to the police, due to the collision, video journalist Pradeep Kumar fell from his elevated highway and died. Police are trying to trace the owner of the BMW car.
