Shubhakaran died on 21 February 2024 at that time. When the farmers were moving from Khanauri border towards Delhi. During this time, Shubhakaran was shot and died in a clash between the police and the farmers. The farmers alleged that Shubhakaran died due to the bullet fired by the Haryana Police. However, all these allegations were rejected by the police.

1. HC asked to open Shambhu border, Haryana Government went to Supreme Court In February 2024, the Haryana Police closed the road by barricading to stop the farmers on the Shambhu border. Ambala traders filed a petition in the High Court against it. The High Court ordered to open the border in a week. However, the Haryana government went to the Supreme Court against it. The Supreme Court has heard 10 in this case. During this period, a committee was also formed under the leadership of retired Justice, which can interfere with the farmers and the government and settle the matter, but the agitation of the farmers continues.
2. 3 times tried to travel to Delhi After the Center stopped negotiations, the farmers decided to travel to Delhi. However, the Haryana government refused to give permission to go to Delhi along with the tractor. After this, the batches of 101 farmers were sent to Delhi. However, Haryana Police also stopped him on barricading of Shambhu border. The farmers tried to travel to Delhi on 6, 8 and 14 December but the police stopped three times. Tear gas shells were fired on farmers.
3. Dallewal started hunger strike, case reached SC Meanwhile, farmer leader Jagjit Dallewal announced a property tax unto death in the name of son-daughter-in-law and grandson. However, on 26 November 2024, he was taken into custody by the Punjab Police before the fast. However, he started fast there. On December 1, under the pressure of farmers, the Punjab Police released him. His fast has been going on since then.
Meanwhile, the matter reached the Supreme Court. However, Dallewal refused to seek medical help. There was a hearing in the court about 10 times on his health. After which the Center invited the conversation on 14 February. Then Dallewal agreed to medical facility.
