The story of Guyana and India is similar
PM Modi said, in the last 200-250 years, India and Guyana have seen similar slavery and similar struggles. Both countries had the same desperation to get rid of slavery. Many people from both the countries sacrificed their lives in the fight for independence.
Democracy is in our DNA and vision
While addressing, PM Modi said that the mantra of One Earth, One Family, One Future. Global conditions have to be kept an eye on. The challenges of the 21st century are completely different. After Corona, the world got busy in other things. In countries where there was crisis, India came forward and helped. We never moved forward with selfishness. We always stayed away from the feeling of possession and usurpation. This is not the time to create controversy. Take everyone along and participate in development. Democracy is in our DNA and vision.
Half the population is necessary for the world
PM Modi said in his address that women will have to come forward to take the world forward. Half the population was not allowed to move forward. It is very important for women to be at the forefront for the betterment of the world. Today the role of women is going to be important in every sector.
PM Modi said in his address that in India, women are given a chance to progress in every field. Women are represented at the local level in India.
While addressing the Parliament of Guyana, PM Modi said that T20 was organized very well in Guyana. India also has cooperation in this wonderful event. We are happy that Guyana has successfully organized the T20 World Cup.
On global participation, PM Modi said that if even one country is left behind, we will not be able to achieve global goals. That is why India says that every country is important. India has always spoken on the basis of principle.
During the G20 Summit, India had made women led development a big agenda. In India, we have launched a big campaign to provide leadership roles in every sector and at every level.
Today women are coming forward in every sector in India. Out of all the pilots in the whole world, only 5 percent are women, whereas in India, 15 percent of the pilots are women.
