Washington:
Newly elected US President Donald Trump has nominated former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondy for the post of Attorney General of America. Former Congressman Matt Gaetz announced his withdrawal from the nomination process for the post on Thursday, after which Trump nominated former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. “I am proud to nominate former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondy as the next Attorney General of the United States,” Trump said in a statement.
He said Bondy served as a prosecutor for nearly 20 years and during that time he “took a tough stance on criminals while making Florida a safer place for people.” It was used as a weapon against other members of the Republican Party. The newly elected President said, “All this is no more.”
