Alert regarding cold in Delhi-NCA

The entire North India including Delhi-NCR is going to experience severe cold in the coming days. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued an alert regarding this. IMD has said in its alert that along with the increase in cold, dense fog may also be seen in North India in the next few days. In such a situation, once again a triple attack of pollution, cold and fog can be seen in North India. According to IMD, dense fog will be seen in Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and UP. Along with this, IMD has also issued rain alert in many states of South India.
Mercury will fall more rapidly in Delhi-NCR
According to the alert issued by IMD regarding Delhi-NCR, there will be a rapid decline in temperature here in the coming few days. This means that the people of Delhi are going to feel more cold in the next few days. In the last few days, there has been a slight but definite decline in the level of pollution in Delhi-NCR. If we talk about Friday’s temperature in Delhi, today the minimum temperature in the capital was around 10 degrees. Which is estimated to be 3 degrees less than the average temperature.
The risk of pollution may increase again
The rapid change in weather is also affecting the level of pollution in Delhi-NCR. As the cold increases in Delhi-NCR, it will also affect pollution. It is being said that due to increase in cold there will be more moisture in the air, in such a situation the air quality may once again decline. Let us tell you that a few days ago the air quality had reached 500 in many areas of Delhi. Which is a very dangerous level.
Cold hit in UP and Rajasthan also
According to IMD, in the last few days, double attack of cold and fog will be seen in many districts of UP and Rajasthan. In many districts of Uttar Pradesh, the temperature has reached up to 9 degrees, whereas if we talk about Rajasthan, the temperature in many districts has reached below seven degrees. There is a possibility of further drop in temperature in the coming days.
