Recruitment of 35,266 posts in five years in MP Employees Selection Board, 79 thousand posts are still vacant

The selection examination for recruitment of 7929 posts of Secondary Teacher of Secondary Teacher of Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (ESB) is being conducted in April. For this, 1.60 lakh candidates have applied, while ESB has uploaded the teacher recruitment on a notification 2018 on March 4 on the website. According to this, the recruitment process for 35,266 posts has been completed so far. At the same time, in the education report of U DIS released by the Center recently, 13 thousand schools in the state are being run on the basis of a teacher. At the same time, there is a shortage of subject -wise teachers in schools in rural areas. About 14 lakh candidates have applied for teacher recruitment in five years. At the same time, 79 thousand posts of teachers are vacant in government schools. Currently, the selection test is being conducted for the candidates of Secondary and Primary Teacher Eligibility Test.

30 thousand posts filled in five years

• Higher Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test results declared in 2019. 40 thousand teachers were to be appointed in this.
• But the department approved only 20 thousand posts and this process could not be completed even after five years.
• Even after recruitment of 30 thousand posts of higher secondary, secondary teachers, 50 thousand posts remained vacant.
• The recruitment process of teachers went on for five years, but the shortage of teachers could not be met.
• The appointment process under Teacher Eligibility Test-1 and Class-2 of 2018 has not been completed yet.
