Cuet ug 2025: The process of filling the form for CUET UG 2025 has started from 1 March 2025 and applications can be made by 22 March 2025. The exam will be held from 8 May to 1 June 2025. The most common question for the financially weaker section (EWS) candidates is whether it is mandatory to upload EWS or caste certificate while filling the CUET UG form, or can it be submitted at the time of admission? The requirement and deadline of EWS certificate (Cuet UG 2025 Hindi)

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts CUET UG exam, usually demands category-related documents while filling the application form. But there are some important things about EWS and caste evidence that candidates should know:

• While filling the form – The CUET UG application form has an option to choose the candidates of EWS or any other category, but sometimes does not compel to upload the NTA certificate. But this time the candidates applying will not have to submit it while applying.
• During the admission process – If the certificate is not generated at the time of application, the candidates will have to ensure that they submit a valid and latest EWS certificate at the time of counseling/admission.

• Generally, the financially weaker section (EWS or any other like OBC) certificate for admission to universities and educational institutions should be of the same financial year 2025-2026 (1 April to 31 March).
• If the candidate has submitted an old certificate while filling the application, then it may be necessary to submit the latest certificate at the time of admission.

Those who do not have certificates available at the time of application?

• If the candidate does not have a certificate at the time of application, but you fall in the EWS category, then you can fill the form in the unreserved (general) category.
• Later, if the concerned university allows, you can avail the category by submitting EWS certificate during the admission process.

The application fee depends on the number of subjects selected

The application fee for Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025 is determined based on the category of candidate and the number of subjects selected. Any candidate who wants to apply for more than one subject will have to pay an additional fee. Below is the details of the application fee for various categories:

For example: If a general class candidate is applying for 5 subjects, then the fee will be calculated as follows-

• For the first 3 subjects: ₹ 1000
• For the next 2 subjects: 2 × ₹ 400 = ₹ 800
• Total fee: ₹ 1000 + ₹ 800 = ₹ 1800
