A spokesperson for Navi Mumbai International Airport Limited said that today Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani visited the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) to be built in Navi Mumbai and reviewed the progress of the project. The project is on the path of fast completion and it is scheduled to be inaugurated in June 2025. The review was attended by Dr. Preeti Adani, Jeet Adani and Diwa Adani, Arun Bansal, CEO of Ada Airport Holdings Limited and Captain BVJK Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of Navi Mumbai International Airport Limited. NMIAL team and partners and representatives of stake companies were also present. Navi Mumbai International Airport will redefine connectivity and development in the region once it is ready.
The Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) being developed by Adani Group is located between the Amera Road and the National Highway 4B and its distance from CSMIA is about 35 km. Apart from this, NMIA is 49 km from the Gateway of India areas of South Mumbai and 43 km from Worli. NMIA is 49 km from Andheri area of Mumbai, and its distance from Meera Road area is 56 km.
