Passengers will have to fill their name, address, mobile number along with the car number in the registration process. After this you will get an e -registration certificate, so that they will be able to go on a journey.
Chardham Yatra will start from April 30, when the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri temples in Uttarkashi district will open.
Kedarnath Temple will be opened on 2 May (Rudraprayag district) and Badrinath Temple on 4 May (Chamoli district) for devotees. The doors of Hemkund Sahib will open on 25 May.

Badrinath Dham – Badrinath Dham is a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This male-Narayan is built between the two mountains. This region is called Badrivan. The priest of this temple is called Rawal. Rawal Adi is from the Kuntumb of Guru Shankaracharya. Only the Namboodari priests of Kerala worship here.
Kedarnath Dham In ancient times, Nar-Narayan, an incarnation of Vishnu in Badrivan, worshiped here by making earth Shivling. Pleased with the devotion of male and Narayan, Shiva appeared. Shiva ji asked the male-Narayan to ask for a bride, then he asked for the bride that you should always live in this area. Shiva ji gave the groom and said that from now on, he will remain here and this area will be known as Kedar region. After this, Shiva ji merged into the Shivling located here in Jyoti Swaroop.
Gangotri – This is the temple of river Ganges. The origin of the Ganges river is Gomukh and Ganga Devi is worshiped in Gangotri. Gangotri has the place where King Bhagiratha meditated to bring Goddess Ganga to earth.
Yamanotri – It is considered to be the origin of the Yamuna river. Goddess Yamuna is worshiped here. It is said about the Yamunotri temple that Maharaja Pratapshah of Tehri Garhwal built the temple of Goddess Yamuna. The temple was later re -constructed by Queen Guleria of Jaipur. The real source of the Yamuna River is a lake of frozen ice and Himanand (Champasar Glacier).
