Retired Indian Forest Service officer Sushant Nanda has shared a video on his X handle, in which elephants are seen moving towards the railway line. At the same time, when the camera equipped with AI technology zoomed in and saw these elephants, it immediately sent a message to control the train, while the loco pilot very intelligently stopped the train and saved it from an accident. Sent, I am very happy to see that now we have a solution for this, four cameras equipped with AI technology near the track averted a major accident.

He further informed that this project has been funded by ‘RSP’ from its Site Specific Wildlife Conservation Scheme, which was implemented on a pilot basis in Rourkela Forest Division. Now Koinjhar and Weavna Forest Divisions are also going to use this technology.
