Case of students fainting in coaching class in Jaipur: Building temporarily sealed, know police’s opinion regarding the incident.

Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation on Monday temporarily sealed the building in which some students were studying who suddenly fainted on Sunday for investigation. The officers provided this information.

Some students studying in this institute located on Gopalpura bypass had suddenly complained of difficulty in breathing and severe headache.

While the Rajasthan Human Rights Commission has recommended taking action against the coaching institutes concerned and providing free treatment and compensation to the victims, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has demanded the state government to shift the coaching institutes to the newly constructed coaching hub in Pratap Nagar. .

In this incident that took place on Sunday evening, seven students sitting in the class of the coaching institute became unconscious and some others fell ill. He suddenly complained of difficulty in breathing and severe headache. There was chaos due to this and the students hurriedly left the building.

The unconscious students were taken to a nearby hospital.

Deputy Commissioner of Mansarovar Zone of Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation, Laxmikant Katara told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that a team of the Corporation and FSL reached the coaching institute today to investigate the incident.

He said that after receiving information about the incident, the team checked the sewage line last evening, but it was found to be fine and prima facie no poisonous gas came out from there.

Katara said, “Today the building was temporarily sealed so that a detailed investigation could be conducted. The Deputy Commissioner has constituted a six-member committee to investigate.”

According to the police, the incident may have been caused by gas coming out of the gutter or smoke coming from the kitchen on the roof of the institute.

Rajasthan Human Rights Commission Chairman Justice (Retd) GR Moolchandani took suo motu cognizance of the matter and asked the state government to provide proper and free medical facilities and compensation to the affected students and take effective action against the management of the coaching institute. Moolchandani has asked for a detailed report of the case.

Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has described the incident as worrying. He wrote on ‘X’, “The accident that took place at a coaching institute in Jaipur last night is worrying. I wish for the speedy recovery of the students injured in this accident.”

According to Gehlot, such accidents can take a bigger form in coaching institutes because more students are taught here than the capacity, which is not appropriate.

He said that during the time of Congress government, detailed guidelines were issued for coaching institutes and after thinking, a coaching hub was created in Pratapnagar.

The Congress leader said, “It is the responsibility of the present state government to implement the guidelines made for proper management of coaching institutes and immediately ensure that all the coaching institutes are shifted to the coaching hubs created by the previous government.”

There are many coaching institutes in Gopalpura Bypass and surrounding areas of Jaipur, in which a large number of students study. These institutes provide preparation for engineering and medical college entrance examinations, civil services and other competitive examinations.

Meanwhile, students studying coaching alleged that the matter was being suppressed and staged a protest outside the institute building.

A student told reporters, “Yesterday the number of students was less than usual. Suddenly the students felt suffocated and six-seven students became unconscious. In panic, the students ran out and took the unconscious students out of the class. We Stopped the vehicles on the road and with their help took him to the hospital.”

According to him, there were around 350 students in the class at the time of the incident. This coaching institute comes under Mahesh Nagar police station. The police station is located just a few meters away from the coaching institute. On receiving information, police reached the spot and controlled the crowd.

Last night some NSUI leaders also reached the spot and joined the dharna along with the coaching students. He also had an altercation with the policemen.
