1. Eat only 4 times a day

We all should keep in mind that we eat food to satisfy our hunger, not to forcefully fill our stomach. Experts recommend eating only four meals a day, and not eating in between. Everyone should have breakfast daily. There are many studies which show that people who have breakfast have a higher BMI than those who do not have breakfast. Always keep breakfast light so that you feel the need to eat food at lunch, avoid heavy breakfast.

Along with this, always try to have dinner early. Dinner should be taken around 7:00 pm, because late night dinner can cause many other problems. At the same time, always choose light food options like khichdi, soup etc. in dinner, which will help in reducing the body mass index.

2. Get enough sleep

In today’s lifestyle, people stay awake till late night and sleep till late morning. Sleep on time at night and get proper sleep of 7 to 9 hours. The hormones released in the body help in improving metabolism. Lack of sleep disturbs the hormones that manage appetite, such as ghrelin and lipton, which can have a negative impact on your health and cause your weight to increase. Fluctuation in hormones increases hunger and cravings, which naturally leads to weight gain.

3. Walk for some time every day

If you want to control your weight, or want to lose weight, then walking for some time daily without fasting or dieting can prove beneficial for you. It is recommended to walk at least 10,000 steps daily, which is equivalent to approximately 7 to 8 kilometers.

You don’t need to walk that much at one go, your step counts start when you wake up in the morning and you have to check them before you sleep at night. You can gift yourself a pedometer for steps count reminder. Do walk for some time before and after eating food.

4. It is important to burn calories

It is very important to burn the excess calories stored in the body regularly. This helps in weight management and diseases do not bother you. To burn calories, take time out every day to do some healthy exercises. With the help of some simple stretching exercises like Talashan, Surya Namaskar, Balasana, you can burn your body calories. This helps you manage a healthy weight.

5. Avoid consuming certain foods

There are some unhealthy foods which can increase your weight disproportionately. If you want to lose weight without fasting, it is advisable to completely avoid consuming these food items. Packaged and processed foods are always available around you, if you do not have them at home, you can easily buy them from the market.

Especially cumin water works more effectively in weight management, soak one spoon of cumin in water and leave it overnight, and drink this water in the morning.
