A new ad campaign has been launched by Adani Group on Wednesday to promote renewable energy. Its name is ‘First the fan will come, then the electricity will come’. Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has shared the video of this campaign. Sharing this post, he wrote that our promises are not just about infrastructure but about hope, progress and a bright tomorrow. We will do it and show it.

‘First the fan will come, then the electricity will come’
Adani Group has also released the video of this campaign on social media platforms. In this video it was shown that there is no electricity in a remote village of the country. There a child asks his father when the electricity will come, to which the father replies, ‘First the fan will come, then the electricity will come’.
After this, Adani Group supplies electricity to the village through wind mill. Adani Group has also given a message at the end of the video that along with generating electricity from the environment, it also spreads happiness in the lives of people.

Target to develop 50 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030
Adani Group is working on a large scale in the renewable energy sector. Adani Green, the renewable arm of Adani Group, aims to develop 50 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. The company is also developing a green energy park in Khavra, Gujarat. Khavra Renewable Energy Plant is spread over 538 square kilometers and is five times larger than the city of Paris. The total capacity of this plant will be 30 GW, which is to be developed by 2029. Recently, the first wind power plant with a capacity of 250 MW has started operating in Khavra Renewable Energy Park.
648 MW Kamuthi Solar Plant completed in Tamil Nadu in 2016
Jeet Adani, director of Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), recently said that in 2016 the company completed the 648 MW Kamuthi solar plant in Tamil Nadu and it was the world’s largest single-site solar power project at that time.
Adani Green Energy’s EBITDA grew 20% year-on-year in the first half
The EBITDA of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has increased by 20 percent year-on-year to Rs 4,518 crore in the first half of the current financial year (2024-25). During the period from April to September, AGEL’s cash profit has increased by 27 percent on an annual basis to Rs 2,640 crore.
