Lahore: A Hindu pilgrim was shot dead at Nankana Sahib in Pakistan. It is being told that the person was going to participate in the 555th Prakash Parv celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev. Meanwhile, a Pakistani Hindu pilgrim was shot dead by robbers. After the incident, a case has been registered against unknown people on the complaint of the relatives of the deceased. It is being told that the accused first snatched money from the devotees and when they protested, they shot a person, due to which he died.
Nankana Sahib was going
According to the information received, the deceased was a native of Larkana city of Sindh province, who has been identified as Rajesh Kumar. Rajesh Kumar was going from Lahore to Nankana Sahib by car with his friend and a relative. Meanwhile, three robbers blocked their way on Mananwala-Nankana Sahib Road, about 60 kilometers from Lahore.
Bullets fired after robbery
Giving information about the incident, the police said, “The gunmen snatched Rs 4.5 lakh from the three and Rs 10,000 from the driver. When Rajesh Kumar protested against this, the robbers opened fire on him and ran away.” After the robbery and firing incident on Wednesday night, Rajesh Kumar was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he died on Thursday.
Case registered against unknown people
On the complaint of the relative of deceased Rajesh Kumar, a case has been registered against unknown people under relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code. Let us tell you that on Friday, the main function of Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji was organized at Gurudwara Janmasthan Nankana Sahib. More than 2,500 Sikhs from India and a large number of local and foreign devotees also participated in it. (input- agency)
