Crores of people are going to gather to take a dip of faith in the world’s largest religious event Mahakumbh, starting from January 13, 2025, on the holy banks of Sangam in Prayagraj. Along with the convenience and safety of these devotees, special attention is also being paid to their health by the Yogi government. If your health deteriorates during Mahakumbh, then you do not need to be afraid. Because hospital arrangements have been made here. Hospital built in parade ground

In Mahakumbh, specialist doctors are being deployed on a large scale to take care of the health of devotees and Mahatmas. In this sequence, a 100-bed hospital is almost ready in the Parade Ground of Mahakumbh Nagar, which also has a 10-bed ICU. Every kind of necessary medical treatment will be provided here in emergency situations. All necessary machines have been installed for this.

During the fair, doctors will be deployed 24 hours a day, where facilities will be available as per the unlimited OPD capacity. Male, female and children wards have been prepared separately in the hospital. Apart from this, delivery room, emergency ward and doctor’s room are also being built. Special arrangements have also been made for medical examination. Along with OPD, X-ray, ultrasound and ECG rooms have also been prepared.

Along with the Central Hospital, two hospitals of 25 beds each in Arail and Jhunsi and eight small hospitals of 20 beds each with special facilities are also getting ready to take care of the devotees. Apart from this, two hospitals have also been arranged for the prevention of infectious diseases, where specialist doctors will be deployed.

‘Bhishma Cube’ equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities

‘Bhishma Cube’ will be used for the first time to deal with emergency situations in the Maha Kumbh Mela to be held on the sands of Sangam. ‘Bhishma Cube’ is a mobile hospital equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities. 200 people can be treated simultaneously in each Bhishma Cube. This mobile hospital has all the facilities related to disease diagnosis, surgery and health care.

Eye examination facility

‘Netra Kumbh’ is also being established to take care of the health of the eyes of the devotees coming during the Maha Kumbh. For the first time, in this ‘Netra Kumbh’ being built on 9 acres, it is being claimed that more than 5 lakh people will be examined simultaneously and 3 lakh spectacles will be distributed.

The most important thing in this is that such eye patients who undergo examination here and need operation will be provided the facility of free operation in the eye hospital located near their home. (With inputs from Bhasha and IANS)
