Police had raided 15 spa centers in Bhopal. Prostitution was being run everywhere here. According to the police, more than 100 registered customers have been found in every spa center. All of them were given monthly membership for five thousand rupees. The girls themselves used to call them and invite them to the spa.

Navdunia Representative, Bhopal. The police finally remembered the long-running prostitution in the spa centers of Bhopal. After almost six years, on Saturday, the Crime Branch police raided four spa centers in the city. In this, cases were registered against 35 girls and 33 youth in four different police stations.
The police released all the accused on bond late at night. Police investigation revealed that there were more than 100 registered customers in the four spa centers of Bagsevania, MP Nagar and Nehru Nagar where raids were conducted. Every customer was given one month membership for five thousand rupees. Here customers were given the facility of unlimited visits.
Customers were called to the spa center by phone.
During the raid, the police found information about customers in the computers and registers of Greenvalley in Bagsevania, Nakshatra operating in Mansarovar Complex, Mikasho in MP Nagar and Wellness Center in Nehru Nagar.
The girls working in the spa center used to call him by phone. During interrogation by the police, the girls told that they have been trapped in the quagmire of prostitution for years. Most of the girls have come from Bhopal and surrounding cities including Vidisha, Sehore, Raisen and Betul.
It has come to light that some of the girls were also orphans, due to which they were involved in immoral trade at an early age. The operator of Mikasho Spa Center located in MP Nagar told the police that a girl is given a salary of eight to ten thousand rupees.
Money found from the counter of spa centers
During police raids, money earned from prostitution was also recovered from spa centres. Police have recovered thousands of rupees from the counters of the spa centre. Besides, objectionable items used in immoral activities have also been found. Police have examined the mobiles of the accused. In which conversations with customers were also revealed.
After all, how is prostitution hidden from the police?
After six years, this raid by the Crime Branch on the widespread prostitution going on in spa centers is raising questions on the city police station. Once in these six years, the Mahila Thana police had taken action in Shahpura and about three years ago the MP Nagar police had raided the spa centre.
Since then the police kept turning a blind eye to prostitution. All the spa centers were operating in the middle markets, just one to two kilometers away from the respective police stations, after all, how was this unethical business that had been going on for years, hidden from the police. If the police discover such activities after six years, the question arises whether these places were not being monitored earlier.
Questions raised on policemen
Questions are also being raised on the involvement of policemen in prostitution going on under the guise of spa centres. According to the information received, suspicious role of two policemen of Bagsevania police station has been found in the investigation.
After the action of the Crime Branch, the Police Commissioner has instructed the concerned DCP to investigate the involvement of Bagsevania, Kamalanagar and MPnagar police stations. If any policeman is found to have any role in this business, suspension action will be taken against him.
