Earthquake tremors (Delhi NCR Earth Quake) have been felt this morning in Delhi-NCR. The earth trembled in many places including Bihar, Assam, West Bengal. The epicenter of the earthquake was Lobuche of Nepal. Its intensity on the Richter scale was 7.1. Its effect was seen in India till Delhi, Bihar, Assam and West Bengal. However, the epicenter of this earthquake was Lobuche, 84 km north-west of Nepal. It was recorded at a depth of about 10 km. These tremors were felt especially in North Bihar. Felt in many districts like Motihari, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Siwan, Araria, Supaul and Purnia as well as Muzaffarpur.

Earth shook for about 5 seconds, people came out of their houses
The intensity of the earthquake in Bihar was measured at 5.1 on the Richter scale. The earth started trembling at 6.40 am in many areas including Samastipur and Motihari. According to the information, the earth kept shaking for about 5 seconds. The earthquake was so strong that people started coming out of their homes due to panic. Till now, there have been no reports of any loss of life or property from Nepal to Bihar and Assam.

Suddenly the bed started shaking while I was sleeping: Meera from Kathmandu
Meera Adhikari, a resident of Kathmandu, told that when the earthquake occurred, I was sleeping when suddenly the bed started shaking, I felt that my child was shaking the bed. I didn’t pay that much attention, then I saw that the window was also shaking, after which I thought that an earthquake had occurred.
