Making anthem for Kumbh is not a challenging but very lovely process.
As everyone knows that the vocal song of Kumbh or what we call anthem song in English. We are singing it for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The lyrics of this time’s anthem song are Mahakumbh Hai Mahakumbh Hai.. This song has been written by Shri Alok Srivastava, composed by Kshitij and sung by Padmashree Shri Kailash Kher with his melodious voice. The next lyrics of its anthem are Kan-kan Shiv Shiv Shambhu Shambhu hai.. Mahakumbh hai. Mahakumbh. We cannot show glamor and fashion while making such songs, because we are remembering our ancestors and our elders. We are repeating their teachings. In this everything has to be told in the original way. What is the power of our spirituality? Why does Kumbh come every 12 years? What is the game of constellation? What is the relation of our Sanatan Akhara with that bath? Meaning, you understand that you have to reach the public by tying the ocean in the river. Well, I do not consider it a challenging but a very lovely process, which is full of emotions from the heart, because what happens is that some things come from reading. There are some things which come by making things up. Our India is ruined. We have millions of years of culture in India. Even when there were no schools and universities all over the world, everyone here was educated. This means that education came through hearing. That is, our elders used to prepare the next sapling by telling them a story. Complete Vedas only through the power of hearing. Puranas and scriptures were memorized. People used to become proficient in it. When we practice Sanatan, the same knowledge is revisited. Through the Mahakumbh song, I am propagating Sanatan Dharma in the same way.
Kumbh nourishes the sages and saints
Nature runs in balance. Whatever we people of the material world do to get our comforts, our saints, mahatmas and spiritual gurus bring it in balance. Sin, virtue and effort are necessary. Altruism is also necessary. Otherwise disaster will come. A fire broke out in the sky and embers fell incessantly.. If there were no saints in the world, the world would have died and there are saints on the whole earth, not anywhere else but in India. If anyone in the world gets the message of becoming an ascetic, then he People come to India to become ascetics. Kumbh unites these sages, saints and mahatmas. Increases their respect further. For the entire world, India is a center of spirituality and inner peace of introspection. 50 crore people will come to Kumbh. Just imagine how many countries would have a combined population of 50 crores and so many people would come here in such numbers just to connect with reverence, devotion and faith. This shows the indomitable power of India. Which has been nurtured by sages and saints.
At whose feet we were, it was Kumbh himself.
As everyone knows that most of my time has been spent in Haridwar. As everyone knows that most of my time was spent in Haridwar, but we were not able to be a part of it physically. We were very young at that time. Then we lived with the Mahatmas. Those with whom we grew up. The one who was the guru of today’s Akhara, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Avadheshanand Giri Ji, Satyamitranand Ji. I grew up at his feet. His counterpart who was Mahatma. I grew up in his lap. Got scolded by him. Got their love. The creation of our personality. Has happened by them. We were not able to be a part of Kumbh physically like this before. At that time the age was less and the air was also less, but the person at whose feet we were was Kumbh himself. That is to say, he was a walking pilgrim. He has taught me the essence of Sanatan and how to live like this.
I am going to Kumbh four times this time
This time we are going to Mahakumbh thrice. It may happen even four times. From 13 January to 28 February. There will be concerts there in our Kailash. There will be a live staging of Kailash Anhad Naad. This staging can be done four to five times, because now there is an eagerness in different institutions why don’t we also enjoy the taste of unlimited sound. Because as soon as Shivnaad resonates, your conscience becomes pure. It becomes sacred and somewhere you feel that O my God, you have said this and may your love and blessings continue to shower on all of us.
Kailasa is the name of spiritual awakening.
My band is spiritual, religious. I don’t get into all these differences. I don’t consider myself anything. I am not happy in the slightest or anywhere. I have only two thoughts, this world gives you names as per its discretion, but the land of India is the land of spirituality. Which is Kailasa of our genre singing. He is spiritual, who is spiritual. He is dutiful. Being dutiful is the greatest religion. This is all a game of intelligence. I think music is beyond that. To put it simply, the spiritual awakening that comes through music is Kailasa.
my country is waking up
If we look at the past several decades in India, there used to be no talk about temples or Maha Kumbh. If people got vaccinated and went to office, they were ridiculed. The situation has happened now. The power of God is included in this. My Mahadev must have frowned due to the neglect of Sanatan for many decades and he has installed some of his chieftains on this earthly power, whose only objective is the protection of Sanatan. Now my country is waking up. my country is resurgent
