Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched Prasar Bharati’s FM channel Kumbhvani on the occasion of Mahakumbh at Circuit House on Friday, the second day of his visit to Prayagraj. On this occasion, he expressed his wish for the success of the FM channel and said that he has full confidence that this FM channel will not only achieve new heights of popularity but will also take Mahakumbh to those remote villages where people cannot reach even if they want. find. We will convey every information about Mahakumbh to those people through these facilities. CM Yogi said that if we are able to do such live broadcast for the people living in far-flung areas, then they will also get the opportunity to know, listen to this great gathering of Sanatan Gaurav and tell it to the coming generations. The CM also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of Information Broadcasting and Prasar Bharati for starting the Kumbhvani channel.

The channel will reach even where there are connectivity issues

CM Yogi said that in fact, the first medium we had to spread folk tradition and culture to the common people was All India Radio. I remember that in my childhood we used to listen very carefully to the lines of Ramcharit Manas which was being broadcast through All India Radio at that time. With the passage of time, technology advanced and people also started watching the scenes depicted through television through visual medium. Later, many private sector channels also came, but they had to prepare themselves according to the competition of time and in remote areas where there are connectivity issues. Keeping in mind the many challenges there, Prasar Bharati’s FM channel has started the process of starting this special FM channel in the name of Kumbhvani in 2013, 2019 and now in 2025 also.

The Chief Minister said that Mahakumbh is not just an event, but a grand event of eternal pride and pride, a great gathering. FM channel will broadcast on 103.5 MHz

For all kinds of information related to Mahakumbh, Prasar Bharati has started OTT based Kumbhavani FM channel. This channel will broadcast on 103.5 MHz frequency. This channel will be on air from 10 January to 26 February. It will be telecast from 5.55 am to 10.05 pm.
