Committed to make employees permanent: Atishi

At the same time, former Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi said that this is the biggest decision to be stable in the municipal corporation so far. Atishi said that his party is committed to making untouchable employees permanent. When we contested the municipal corporation, we promised to make the untouchable employees permanent and today they are going to fulfill the promise.

Atishi said that we are expressing our commitment with our move. The day the Aam Aadmi Party has been formed, this has been the promise of the party. Under this, the contract teachers in the Punjab government are being confirmed. He said that after coming to the Municipal Corporation, he has made 4.5 thousand temporary employees permanent. He said that his party, in power of the Municipal Corporation, will now make 12 thousand healthiest employees of Delhi city permanent.

He informed that 12 thousand temporary employees will be appointed as permanent employees at a time. This will be the biggest decision in the Municipal Corporation so far, where 12 thousand employees will be given a confirmed job at a time. These employees include sanitation workers, gardeners, bells etc. under Delhi Municipal Corporation. Apart from these, employees teaching in municipal schools, junior engineers and assistant engineers working on contract in engineering department, breeding checkers etc. will also be stable.

This reply was given on allegations of emptying treasure

On the allegations of Delhi’s treasure being vacant, Atishi said that he expected that the BJP government would avoid fulfilling its so -called promises, they would definitely make some excuse for this. Therefore, before the formation of the BJP government, before the Chief Minister was sworn in, we had put the figures of the treasury of Delhi and the country in front of the country.

He said that when the common man’s government was formed in Delhi in 2015, the total budget of Delhi was Rs 30,000 crore. He had said that in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party ran an honest government for 10 years and in ten years this budget increased to 77 thousand crores. Atishi said that Delhi is a state in profit. The Delhi government decides this budget from its own revenue, it does not get any help from the central government. Therefore, the BJP government of Delhi should now fulfill its promises.
